Gavin Dyer, Concierge at Wilson Air Center – CLT, has been recognized for going “Above & Beyond” by Aviation International News for the second year in a row. What’s his secret? Gavin aims to always stay one step ahead of the passengers and the crew. He is often the first face customers see when arriving in Charlotte, but the preparations for their arrival have been in the works for hours, or even days in some cases. Gavin and the rest of the award-winning team in Charlotte work tirelessly to make sure that every detail is tended to, no matter how small.

Gavin has been with Wilson Air Center for 18 years and says that the key to making a difference every day is simple: “Being cheerful and letting crew and passengers know that anything is possible.” Pilots and flight crews around the country must appreciate the extra effort, as Wilson Air Center – CLT was voted in the top 20% of US FBOs by AIN and voted as the 7th Best FBO in the US by Pro Pilot’s PRASE Survey.

Even though Gavin has been working in aviation since 1980, his attitude remains fresh: “every day is different and holds lots of opportunities!” We are lucky to have Gavin in our Wilson Air Center family inspiring us every day, and we can’t wait to see what tomorrow has in store for him!
