West Star is proud to support our Veterans by donating to the local Lincoln Honor Flight program. The proceeds support a one-day, no charge flight to Veterans that are able and willing to fly to Washington to visit their dedicated memorials.

Each year the Lincoln Honor Flight program strives to take six (6) flights, serving approximately 550 local veterans. This particular program serves key central and mid-southern Illinois cities.

Currently, West Star employs 302 veterans from various military branches, including four (4) interning via the DOD’s Skill Bridge program. This accounts for 19% of the overall workforce at West Star.
