West Star is pleased to announce the promotion of Matt Vogel to the Director of Information Technology. Matt will oversee the company’s entire information technology project portfolio, from designing and implementing new IT solutions to further developing and refining of current systems benefiting both employees and customers.

Matt has more than 27 years of IT experience, most recently serving as the team’s IT Manager. He holds a degree
in Public Accounting from Mesa College (aka Colorado Mesa University) and has worked at West Star since 2002.
“Matt works closely with each department as well as vendors to shape our technology solutions, ensuring efficiency
while also being user friendly. Matt has been an integral part of the team, leading IT initiatives as technology continues to evolve and becomes a larger part of West Star’s future,” said Katie Johnson, VP of Human Resources.

“I am invested in the long-term success of the IT department at West Star,” said Matt Vogel, Director of IT, “I am
excited to lead the team into a more sustainable digital future, including migrating technology resources to cloud-based systems while maximizing efficiencies and enhancing data security,” Vogel continued.
