Aviation Fabricators (AvFab) recently received Mexican STC approval for the installation of their 2-Place side-facing Divan in Learjet 55, 55B, 55C, and 60 series aircraft.
The 2-Place Divan updates the aircraft by adding additional passenger space while giving the cabin a larger, more open look. The divan can be installed on either the left or right side of the aircraft and available options include armrests, drawers, and close out panels. Armrests can be added to either end of the divan.
There is no airframe modification necessary and installation is as simple as removing the existing seats/furnishings, and then placing the divan into the desired location by locking it into the seat tracks. Kits are usually in stock and available for immediate world-wide shipment. However, fluctuations in demand may cause up to a 30-day delivery time.
