Aviation Fabricators (AvFab) recently announced they have received STC approval on their Cessna 208 Stretcher for the Cessna 208, 208A, 208B series aircraft in India.
The stretcher provides an operator with the option of transporting an ill or injured patient, and is ideal as an economical alternative to complete medevac systems, for an operator who doesn’t need critical care medical equipment.
“We offer a wide variety of products and services for Cessna operators,” says AvFab’s GR Lowe. “Our continuous efforts to gain STC approvals around the world, including this recent Indian approval, are making it easier for operators everywhere to take advantage of the solutions we offer for their specific aircraft.”
The stretcher is light weight, easy to install, and can be used with the Ferno Litter or without, using the AvFab mattress. The kit includes stretcher unit, mattress, Ferno Litter and restraint system.
