In an effort to strengthen their role as a trusted partner for the aviation industry, Eastman Aviation Solutions will continue the longstanding tradition of distributing the Turbine-Engined Fleets of the World’s Airlines guide. A complimentary copy of the comprehensive, up-to-date guide of the world’s turbine-engine aviation fleets can be requested by visiting www.EastmanAviationSolutions.com/TEF.

The guide is based on data collected from an annual survey of the world’s airlines and features an in-depth listing of the 57,000 turbine-engine equipped aircraft flying commercially today. This unique fleet guide is meant to be a valuable and useful resource for companies and individuals in the industry.

Previously produced by BP, the guide has been distributed every year since 1970. This year’s guide is the second edition to be published by Eastman Aviation Solutions since the aviation turbo oils business was acquired from BP in 2014.

“The past year has been an exciting time for aviation and for Eastman,” says Nick Cleary, technical services director, Eastman Aviation Solutions. “The industry has seen consolidation, record aircraft orders, increasing passenger demand, and the deliveries of new innovative aircraft, such as the Airbus A350 XWB and Boeing 787-9 with Eastman Turbo Oil 2197 lubricating the engine; so we are excited to release the 2015 guide.”

The Turbine-Engined Fleets of the World’s Airlines guide has been used to pinpoint emerging trends and transitions within the airline industry through documented changes in the survey data. In past years, the guide identified the substantial increase in the number of aircraft transitioning from standard engine oils to cleaner and more efficient options.

“As the industry continues to innovate and change, Eastman Aviation Solutions is committed to continuing our legacy and heritage as a trusted partner to airlines, OEMs and aviation professionals around the world,” added Rodger Harris, global commercial director, Eastman Aviation Solutions. “The guide has become a well known and sought after resource and tool for the aviation community, and we are proud to continue our support to the industry by producing and distributing the guide annually.”
